Dr. Sara Kerin is a Hartford native. She did her undergraduate work at Georgetown University and completed her dental education at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2013. She is a member of the OKU Dental Honors Society. While at UConn she coordinated numerous community outreach programs and spent time in the Dominican Republic educating and treating refugee farm workers near Santo Domingo.
After dental school Dr. Kerin moved to Colorado to attend the Denver VA Hospital’s General Practice Residency program where she was exposed to advanced treatment modalities, including implant placement. She practiced dentistry in Colorado for 5 years before returning to Connecticut to join Comprehensive Dental Care.
Dr. Kerin is a member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut Dental Association, and the Hartford Dental Society. She participates in a Spear Study Club and serves on the board of HAVEN, a non-profit serving healthcare professionals suffering from chemical dependency, emotional/behavioral disorders or physical/mental illnesses.
She lives in Bloomfield with her husband, son and two German Shepherds. In her free time she enjoys traveling, reading, crafting, seeing live music and being outside. From hiking to snowboarding to paddle boarding, she loves being active.
